The Australian College of Theology
The ACT’s chief purpose is to collaborate with its affiliated colleges to equip people to faithfully serve God’s church and God’s world primarily by the provision of quality-assured courses in theology and ministry.
The Australian College of Theology is an Australian higher education provider, leading and fostering a robust consortium of independent affiliated college, which actively engage in scholarship and collaborate in the provision of theological education. Mary Andrews College is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology.
The Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Graduate Certificate level courses offered at MAC are accredited by the Australian College of Theology, and MAC is approved to deliver these courses. The Mary Andrews College Certificates are independent non-accredited courses, which are not run through the ACT.
The Australian College of Theology has now become an Australian University College. The ACT was registered as a University College with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) in October 2022.
