Mary Andrews College Library
Mary Andrews College library provides a variety of resources to support students and staff in their study and teaching. Our focus areas are pastoral care, mental health, and disability, however the library contains many resources for Old and New Testament, theology, church history, ethics, evangelism, and other areas related to the courses taught at the College.
The physical collection consists of around 10,000 items including books, journals, CDs and DVDs, and is located at Mary Andrews College in St Andrews House, level 1, 464-480 Kent St, Sydney. The library is open Monday to Friday, 9:30-4:00 (excluding public holidays).
The library has two computers for borrowing and accessing the catalogue, as well as one iMac computer available for staff and students’ personal use.
Spaces are available for individual and group study, however please note that these are shared with Anglican Deaconess Ministries.
Borrowing
Library borrowing is on a self-checking system. Students studying for credit can use their student card for borrowing; please request a card by emailing our admin team. Auditing students and other library members can request a library borrowing card from the library staff.
Most items may be borrowed for 2 weeks; online-only students can borrow for 3 weeks to allow time for postage if required. Books in the Short Loan collection (on unit reading lists) have a 1 week loan period.
Borrowed items can be renewed up to 3 times. Items will be renewed automatically if they are not returned by the due date. If somebody requests an item on loan, it cannot be renewed and should be returned to the library.
More details about borrowing can be found in the Library Guidelines document for students, which is in the Mary Andrews College Library unit in Moodle. To see due dates and your borrowing history, login to your account.

The library is staffed part-time. You can contact the library support staff via email or 1300 590 531. Our administration team are also ready to help if our Library Staff are unavailable. Please contact them via macmin@mac.edu.au
