Mary Andrews College offers a safe and connected place for you to be equipped to serve Jesus in this ever-changing world.

Mary Andrews College offers three course levels: Graduate, Diploma and Certificate.

Our study options are designed for women at every life stage. The courses are practical, Bible-based, and integrate learning into everyday life and ministry.

The course of study you choose depends entirely on the depth you wish to gain in your study of the Bible and in theology and how this learning integrates with pastoral practice in everyday life.

Every level of study is a pathway into pastoral ministry, whether that be vocational or in a volunteer capacity, and each is designed to equip students with the skills to integrate what they are learning in the classroom with pastoral ministry practice.

“Mary Andrews College has a solid reputation for its theology and application. There is also flexibility of course structure and options for when and where study happens.”

The Mary Andrews College Certificate in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Care

The perfect course for those who don’t have previous theological training but want to develop their Christian understanding and pastoral care. All units seek to integrate what is taught with how we live as followers of Jesus Christ and how we care for others.

  • Diploma and Advanced Diploma Courses

Diploma-level study gives students foundational level knowledge and skills in the Bible, theology, and in discipleship & pastoral care skills. This level of study is suitable for women who wish to gain a deeper understanding of how the Bible shapes our ministry practice in the local church and wider community.

  • Graduate Courses

Graduate level study is suitable for students with a previous bachelor degree. Graduate courses can be professional development for ministry workers, professional healthcare workers, Christians working in schools, and more.

Why start with a short course?

Short courses at MAC give you a ‘taster’ of study before committing to a longer course. They allow you the opportunity to get to know the college and our staff and students and contemplate where further study opportunities might take you.

Shorter study options

If you are really just wanting to dip your toe in the water, you can chose to do just one subject (unit) without having to enrol in a whole course. To see the units that are available for 2025, take a look at our timetables.

All classes can be undertaken in person at our campus in the Sydney CBD or in live online lectures through our hybrid learning.
