The Australian University of Theology (AUT) is an Australian higher education provider, leading and fostering a robust consortium of independent affiliated college, which actively engage in scholarship and collaborate in the provision of theological education. Mary Andrews College is an affiliated college of the Australian University of Theology.
The Undergraduate Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma level courses offered at MAC are accredited by the Australian University of Theology, and MAC is approved to deliver these courses. The Mary Andrews College Certificates are independent non-accredited courses, which are not run through the AUT.
The Australian University of Theology became an Australia’s 44th University in 2025 after being registered as a university with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). For more information, see the press release from TEQSA here.
